4 Steps to our successful Slurry Seal program

  1. Determine traffic control level needed to insure a safe traffic flow. Determine any repair work need before Slurry Seal is placed.
  2. Repair as needed large cracks, pot holes and rough joints. We offer services do this for you.
  3. Clean the surface, cover manholes recheck calibration of Slurry machine to determine the amount of slurry emulsion, 2FA aggregate, water and Portland cement. Slurry is 3/8" thick and will fill low areas to 1 1/2.
  4. Allow Slurry to cure then uncover manholes open to traffic after 30 to 45 minutes.

  • Temporary raised pavement markings can by used on busy roads.
  • Has a similar black appearance to asphalt and is less expensive then a thin asphalt overlay.
  • No milling for curb and manholes required
  • Slurry uses an overlapping seams. This insures a water tight joint and is denser than asphalt which allows less water to penetrate the surface.
